By 2040 CKD-related deaths are likely to double to 4 million per year.

More than 2.28 million people with CKD do not have access to Kidney replacement therapy.

There are significant inequalities in kidney care with low-middle income countries lacking funds to provide high quality care.

Nutrition care was not generally available in 65% of Low to middle income countries and never available in 23% of low-income countries.
