Public Health Internship
Our public health internship focuses on the prevention of chronic kidney disease. We provide high risk communities a variety of education programs for children and adults, from health and wellness fairs to camps and worksite presentations. This internship is open to any college student. Our online modules are required to be completed as part of the internship. They are equivalent to 1.5 credits and can be completed any time within 6 months of the start date of the rotation. This program is offered on July 19-30th, 2027. Applications must be submitted by
Jan 30th, 2027. Join one of our zoom sessions scheduled for Wednesdays at 7 pm EST for more information.
*Learn about chronic disease such as cancer, diabetes. hypertension and obesity in the Bajan population.
*Create lesson plans and develop community programs
*Work with school age children.
*Help with questionnaires/
surveys.
*Teach health lifestyle principles.
